Google, to date, is the most popular search engine available for both ordinary surfers and webmasters. This is attributed to its complex text matching algorithm and of course the pagerank system it uses.

Google is popular with SEOs and Internet marketing companies due to the highly effective ranking system it uses. What also makes Google popular with SEO specialists is the speed at which their spider can crawl or indexed a site.

This popularity provides SEOs what they need to know on the workings of the Google search engine. That’s why there is no other much credible search engine to serve as a judge in prestigious optimizing competitions like the Busby SEO Challenge .

Busby SEO Challenge - Pogung177 Backlink Diagnosis

Pogung177 is ranking top 1 today. How did he get such a top ranking? Let’s try to examine his site backlinks and we may get some answers.

Let’s then diagnose his link on his blog Busby SEO Challenge and see what happens. After a couple of minutes we get a nice report like this.

We get a total of 347 links in the report, whereas Yahoo SiteExplorer says it has over 9, thousand backlinks. The difference is that most of the links in SiteExplorer are from the same domains (sitewide links), these would just make the analysis useless and slow.

Here is the XLS report of all the backlinks that can be download. We immediatelly see the most valuable links that Pogung177 has.
